On day 1 we pick you up from Kochi airport and head towards Athirappally waterfalls. We will have lunch there in a restaurant over looking the lovely falls. After lunch we shall head towards Thrissur by taking the forest road through Chokkana, Marottichal and stop by at Marottichal waterfalls.

Day : 2 - Sea cruise & Kozhikode

On day 2 we shall leave from Guruvayur and follow the road to Chamravattom bridge taking the Perumbadappu route. Then we head to Tirur and onto Kadalundi from where we take the Roro to cross over the sea channel to Beypore port where we shall spend half an hour around the beach park, sea bridge and watch the famous uru or dhow shipbuilding making. The giant wooden boats are still made by craftsmen entirely by hand without using any nails. The highlight of the day is that from Beypore we shall be going on an exciting 2-hour sea cruise from Beypore into the Arabian sea. The sea cruise will be quite a rewarding experience especially for travelers who have had no previous experience of cruising in the sea. From Beypore we head to Kozhikode beach and on to Paragon restaurant in Kozhikode, which is regarded as the best restaurant in the whole of Kerala, for a deliciously rewarding lunch experience. After lunch we shall explore the vibrant Kozhikode city and visit the world famous SM or Sweet Meat street otherwise known as Mithai theruvu in Kerala. Its a walking street that is famous for shopping venues for the famous Kozhikode Halwa and Crispy Chips varieties indegenious to Kozhikode or Calicut city as it was originally known. We shall also visit Kappad beach where Vasco da Gama first landed in India. Towards evening we can explore the street food scene in Kozhikode beach road and thereon spend the 2nd night of our trip in this wonderful city.

Day : 3 - Wayanad

On day 3 morning we shall leave Kozhikode city and go on a beautiful drive to the hills to reach Wayanad, the hill district of Malabar region. The winding roads going uphill through the emerald green canopy of trees is sure to be one among the most unforgettable experiences in this trip.

Day : 4 - Kannur and around

On day 4 we shall leave from Kapetta and go towards Kannur city on the way passing through the Kottiyoor wildlife sanctuary, Iritty and Mattannur. Kannur is famous for 2 eateries that are as popular it can ever get in the Malabar region. Lunch at Odhens with its tasty sea food preparations are a not to be missed experience. Dinner we shall have at MRA Bakery and restaurant in Kannur, which is synonymous to the best non vegetarian dishes the whole of Kerala.

Day : 5 - Drive in beach

On the last day of our trip we shall head south from Kannur city towards Thalassery and on the way we shall drive through Muzhappilangad drive in beach for a stretch of 4 kms. In Thalassery we shall try the famous Thalassery Biryani from Paris Hotel. Visit the Thalassery fort and head to the railway station to drop you in case you are taking a train back. If not we head to Kannur International airport from where you can take your flight back.
